The main floor features a sitting room with a 65‑inch smart TV, a formal dining room that seats eight, a sunroom, and a screened porch. A cozy indoor gas fireplace adds warmth to the living space. The top floor includes a children’s playroom, an office nook, and another living room with a 65‑inch smart TV. The bottom floor offers a large bedroom with a shared bathroom, a living room with a twin‑size trundle bed and a 65‑inch smart TV, and a covered deck with a coffee nook. Central air, heat, and two mini‑splits keep the temperature comfortable year‑round.
Outdoor living
The 2‑acre grounds host a covered pavilion with an oversized wood‑burning fireplace (currently out of order) and a spacious outdoor living area with comfortable couches, captain’s chairs, and a 16‑person dining table. A separate fire‑pit is perfect for roasting s’mores. Two creeks converge into a private pond, and bear‑proof trash cans are located on Upper Lake Road. Children can explore the woods, search for salamanders, and enjoy bird‑watching in the spring and summer.
Kitchen & dining
A fully stocked kitchen includes every appliance and cooking utensil you could desire, a coffee bar, mixology bar, Insta‑Pot, blender, and kids’ plates and cups. The kitchen breakfast bar seats three, and the indoor dining room seats eight, while the outdoor dining area accommodates sixteen guests. High‑speed internet is available throughout the home.
Neighborhood
A two‑minute drive brings you to Blue Bike Café for a spectacular breakfast. Main Street, just two minutes away, offers fine dining at Wolfgang’s Restaurant & Wine Bistro or Ristorante Paoletti, as well as boutique shopping at C’Orrico, Annawear, Bear Mountain Outfitters, and Wit’s End. The property is minutes from local wedding venues, Old Edwards, The Farm, and The Hutchinson House.
Pet policy
Dogs under 20 lb are welcome (maximum two) with written approval and a $250 fee per pet. Service animals are exempt. Cats are not permitted.
Guest guidelines
- Maximum of eight guests to preserve the home’s pristine condition.
- No smoking or vaping indoors or near open windows.
- Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM.
- Secure all food in the home to prevent attracting bears.
- Bear‑proof trash cans must be tightly closed; failure incurs a $1,000 fine.
- No parties with outside guests; all guests must be listed on the reservation.
- Up to ten cars allowed on the property; no more than ten people may stay overnight.
