Maison d'Hôtes de l'Evêché

We LOVED our stay at Maison d'Hôtes de l'Evêché! The "old" village had very much a medieval charm, and the hotel was cozy and comfortable. The view from our room was splendid!

The stairs to our room were a bit difficult to maneuver, but our hotel host took care of our luggage up to our room and back down when we left.

This is a truly charming hotel. The hosts are exceptionally friendly and welcomed us personally upon arrival. Breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace overlooking Vaison, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. While you can pull up to the hotel briefly to unload your luggage, the nearby public parking just outside the old village is plentiful and convenient. The hotel itself feels part museum, part library, with artwork, vintage posters, antiques, and books covering nearly every wall. It's full of character and history. That said, it's important to remember that this is a historic building. If you're looking for a sleek, recently renovated hotel with modern finishes, on-site parking, and contemporary amenities, this may not be the right fit. If, however, you appreciate unique accommodations with personality, warm hospitality, and an unbeatable location for exploring Vaison, it's a wonderful place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

la situation de l'établissement

on ne peut pas tout misé sur l'emplacement , parking inexistant , chaleur étouffante dans la chambre, vis à vis important, meme dans des hotels moins bien placés il y a des mets salés variés au petit déjeuner , là que du babybel et des vaches qui rit, deux petites doses pour la douche non remplacées le lendemain , salle de bain vétuste, seul l'emplacement sauve cette maison .
