Amazing location, really, that was the reason we chose to stay here, we never used any transport around the city. The host is lovely, always responsive, provided great instructions for check in and was very understanding of our flight delay. There is also a good map with top 15 attractions marked in the apartment, useful for first time visitors.
It is indeed a converted basement / ground floor, can be noisy, the bathroom is moldy and smelly, and ceiling in one gallery is too short to stand up. However, we read all this and were prepared, these things are not really fixable. What can be improved though is the kitchen sink, mattress and pillows, and the wifi - it is only good near the entrance. We had a good stay anyway.
