Le Galinier Lourmarin, a Beaumier Guesthouse

Beautiful property that sits perfectly on the edge of a stunning village, Lourmarin. Stunning pool, gorgeous gardens and extremely well located to visit other villages in the Luberon region. Fabulous huge 2 bedroom apartment with excellent facilities inc washing machine and kitchen.

We found the staff very disengaged with our stay. When we arrived, no cool drink offered after our 3 hr trip, no tour of the property, no telling us where to park the car. Also informed I should have checked in on line!! Staff work on the long communal table in the guest area and we were not made to feel welcome in there. Staff definitely need an office separate to the guest lounge area. Overall a fabulous stay but staff need to be warmer, more welcoming and engaged.

Such a charming property, beautiful gardens and pool area!

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It is set in a beautiful garden completely walled off from outside, but conveniently located across the street from the Lourmarin village center. It feels like a private villa with intimate setting. The Grange suite was very comfortable. The pool area was beautiful. The proximity to the village was very convenient.

The service at the hotel needs improvement. The breakfast had to be ordered the day before and did not have many selections. We ended up going to the village restaurants, where we could get fresh squeezed orange juice and eggs. The pool area is not being monitored by anyone. There were not enough clean lounge chair covers for all guests. There were no pool towels. The guest suite did not have bath robes, and slippers were provided only after asking. The refrigerator is not supplied with water or other mini bar items. The tea and coffee supplies in the suite are not being replenished without asking.

The Pilates class booked didn’t happen. we had no shower in the room and the pool was dirty
