Much nicer than expected, cheap but good stay.

Clean renovated room. Balcony, fridge, kettle, hot shower. Access to kitchen space. Very close to castle.

Shower had limited time button that needed re-pressing. Not quite enough parking for all guests and host.

Great stay for parkrun with nice breakfast and easy access from Gdansk and into centre

What an awesome stay, like many others I was staying here to do the Parkrun at the Castle in the morning. The female owner was so good, spoke English really well and looked after us. The dog is very cute (sorry we let the wrong cat in!). The room was so spacious and perfect single for just me. It was great to have my own little fridge. Having breakfast when we came back at 10am was no issue and I really enjoyed the filter coffee. Great place to get to on foot: arrived at Malbork Kałdowo train stationn with a flat main road walk to the accommodation, easy to walk across the footbridge or car bridge to the city and to the castle.

great location but everything else disappointing

great location but poor breakfast and room very small , we stayed in 'double ' bedroom where that was no space for two people . Needed upgrade .

A few issues but overall a good stay

comfortable bed, clean,

no heating, noisy neighbouring rooms / child running around. wi fi cut out quite a lot my room door to communal area didn’t lock from inside. basin tap didn’t turn off once hot.

It's hard to imagine a better location for visiting the castle as you definitely want the photo from across the river and can easily start your 15 minute walk over from the hotel. Accommodation and breakfast are basic but cover all the essentials, the place is clean and not too noisy despite being on a main road, staff were very friendly and there's a place right in front of the building if you travel by car. There are also several options for food on either side of the river within a relatively short distance. Great value for money.

A very pleasant stay.

Perfect budget stay especially for people who want to visit the Malbork Castle. You can admire the beauty of the Castle and take pictures of it stepping just a few meters from the hotel. You can easily walk to the Castle through a footpath across Nogat river.

Don't expect any luxury, but it's good valye for money for a short stay

Location is fantastic - as the establishment name says is just opposite the castle. There is a dedicated car park. The room has a kettle and mugs, which is unusual in Polish hotels. There is a shared kitchen, reasonably well equipped.

The room was on the small side. There is traffic noise from the busy street. The balcony door gets stuck.

We traveled with 2 kids of 3.5. The apartment itself is very comfy for family travellers, especially if you travel by car. Our room was located on the ground floor and consisted of the 2 separate bedrooms, kitchen, hallway and a shower room with toilet. The location of the rooms is very smart and convenient: apart from the connecting door between the bedrooms, each bedroom has it's own pass to the kitchen and to the shower/toilet. Besides there is an entrance from one of the bedrooms to the garden, which I and wife found convenient for the children.

I was rather disappointed when I did not find Wi-fi password, however it was announced "Free Wi-fi" option. That was really odd. Another shocking thing for us was that there was no any toiletters: shampoo, shower gel... Even the roll of toilet paper was incomplete. The next day, when we woke up, we found that there was no tea bag or coffee in the apartment ... I was really confused: if you take more then 300PLN per night, why don't you put a poor couple of tea bags or a coffe of price 4PLN per 100g package??? That seems really ridiculous to me. Breakfast of price 19PLN was not satisfactory at all. It was disappointing shall we say. No eggs, no bacon... For kids it was enough, but not for a healthy men. Don't waste your money for the breakfast, if you decide to stay in this hotel, it is better to visit some restaurant nearby.

A nice choice for Malbork visitors

We traveled with a family of 5 persons. The place was easy to find, close to main sightseeing places, it has a wanderful window view, causy clean room, small kichen ( microwave, flidge, kettle) a possibility to use terrace, car parking. Personel friendly, The problems with order ( number of travelers) were solved quickly. Its a nice choice for Malbork visitors.

Good option for short stay in Malbork. Location and personnel are pretty good. The room was small, but cozy enough, I really liked those windows in the ceiling.

Some stuff in the hotel is quite old and need to be change. And definately more charge plugs are necessary.

Fine for what we wanted. But couldnt wait to leave town

Excellent location and view. Arrived after 8 hours of travel and waited ages for someone to appear. Tried phoning the number but no answer. Eventually, got sorted because neighbour called to speak to owner. Room was warm but felt a bit bleak due to furnishings, but was clean. Coffee machine had no instructions. No milk for tea…..Duvets were small, and we are not big people. Bathroom Water pressure and temperature was poor - no hairdryer, linens poor quality. In fairness the price was low and the breakfast was decent….
