Rimlhof by A CASA

We arrived at Rimlhof and there was a problem with the property. We contacted the property manager who within 10 min offered us another property instead. My review is related to the replacement property A CASA Elegance a few min away from the originally booked property. A CASA looks like a brand new buiding high quality equipped, spottless, roomy and very comfortable. Since Langenfeld is quite small everything is within walking distance of a casa. The apartment has its own undeground parking

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Wochenende in diesem Apartment in den Bergen. Die Lage zur (abgesagten :( ) Oetz Trophy war ideal. Supermarkt und Bäcker waren bequem zu Fuß erreichbar, und auch sehr gute Restaurants gab es in der näheren Umgebung. Für unsere Kinder waren die Kühe direkt vor der Haustür ein ganz besonderes Highlight. Auch die Parkmöglichkeit unter dem Carport war trotz unserer Dachbox überhaupt kein Problem. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön und sauber, die Küchenausstattung völlig ausreichend. Der Check-in ohne Personal hat problemlos und unkompliziert funktioniert. Auch der Wellnessbereich war sauber und gepflegt. Was auch sehr toll war, war der Heizraum im Keller - der unsere Kajakausrüsten über Nacht super getrocknet hat. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden das Apartment für einen Aufenthalt in der Region jederzeit wieder wählen.

Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt war der Geschirrspüler, der leider nicht mehr ganz in optimalem Zustand war. Auch im Wellnessbereich waren die Liegen beim Dampfbad leider kalt. Ansonsten war unser Aufenthalt sehr angenehm.

Die Matratzen im Schlafzimmer müssen unbedingt getauscht werden!!! (Sind schon sehr abgenutzt) Rückenschmerzen.

The property had a unique Tyrolean style i.e. large, exposed wooden beams and lots of wood in the design, and was a good location for walking to town, a grocery store, and the wellness center, and was also a short drive to the ski resorts. The location was quiet, a little distance from the main road, and offered great views of the valley and mountains. The dining area was comfortable and a nice place to hang out. The kitchen was sufficient and had all the essentials.

The check-in was so-so. Your first stop is at a digital lock box in the middle of town to pick up the keys. I could have used some immediate direction in finding the apartment, which was maybe a kilometer or two from the digital reception. The street address on Google Maps was taking me to the wrong location. A basic map at the digital reception or push notification with directions would have helped. Also, the digital check-in asked me to complete payment. I did so, but this created a duplicate payment. The office was quick to let me know about this, via email, which I appreciated. I used the office phone number once or twice about another matter, but did not reach anyone immediately. Email or Whatsup seem to be the best way to hear back from the office. The bedroom set-up on the 2nd floor would have been better if the larger space had been used for the bedroom rather than the small, lower-ceiling subspace. It wasn't the best setup for a 2nd separte adult. In the kitchen, a few starter coffees or teas would have been nice, since we got in late and the grocery stores were closed on Sundays.
