The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast - taken in the Hotel Le Lac next door - was very nice.

Hotel Beau Site is not really a hotel in it's own right but an annex block of rooms to the Hotel Le Lac next door. Our room in this annex had the feel of a budget hotel such as small room, miniscule bars of soap, paper cups and a wardrobe door catch that didn't work so we had to wedge it shut so we could actually get round the bed. Except the room wasn't really a budget price. We reserved dinner for two at the hotel, which turned of to be in a nearby restaurant, I think owned by the same people. We were put in a fairly small room dominated by a group of 19. They were very loud - as large groups often are - but I have no complaint against the group, but instead against for the restaurant for putting us in there with them. There was another room and I think even other restaurants nearby owned by the same people but we were offered none of these. We felt more like an inconvenience to the hotel than a welcome guest.
