I’ll start with the view from our room: an unobstructed panorama of Silveira Beach, with the sunrise directly ahead and visible from bed—something I don’t remember ever experiencing before (see picture). Each morning, we enjoyed a wonderful made-from-scratch breakfast on the pousada’s balcony, also overlooking the beach. The air-conditioned room was spacious and comfortable, with a king-size bed, a balcony, chairs, and a hammock, all in a very safe location (we received a pousada key, making it easy to come and go as we pleased). The bathroom’s gas-heated water system provided plenty of hot water for showers at any time, unlike typical electric showers. The owners were very friendly and kindly provided a beach umbrella, towels, and chairs for us to use during our stay. Communication was easy using WhatsApp at any time. Although the pousada has a pool, we always chose to spend our time at the nearby beaches, especially Silveira itself. A sleek cable car made it easy to bring luggage up to the pousada from the parking lot.

The pousada sits at the top of the pass between Garopaba and Silveira Beach. The steep access road may feel intimidating at first, but it becomes manageable after a couple trips. The parking spaces are also a bit tricky and require some skill to exit. Still, these minor inconveniences should not discourage anyone—the overall stay more than makes up for them. Plan to use your car for most outings, as walking to the beach, while doable, is not practical.

A acomodação é muito espaçosa, limpa e a vista é maravilhosa. O café da manhã, servido com vista para a praia, é muito caprichado e delicioso. Os proprietários e funcionários são muito solícitos, nos sentimos muito bem recebidos!
