Absolutely amazing place. Ever better than in pictures.

Nice beach, really nice pool, lovely gardens. Cleaning staff super fast and efficient. Overall, the place is good for a short stay for a medium level experience.

Restaurant cocktails not great (nobody knows how to make them), food expensive for the quality it is, breakfast beyond basic. Basically you need to go out for food and drinks.

The nicest thing about the property remains the pool and the gardens. Small beach is also good. Overall the property is clean.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and have repeatedly raised the same issues. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. There is a clear and ongoing lack of management attention and accountability. 1. Basic guest experience issues ignored The use of heavily scented detergent on towels is unacceptable. The smell is overpowering and unpleasant. This is not standard practice in quality hotels and has been raised before - yet continues unchanged. 2. Service culture is fundamentally broken With one notable exception - Mai, who demonstrates genuine service attitude - the staff across reception, poolside, and restaurant appear untrained and disengaged. They do not greet guests, do not initiate interaction, do not anticipate needs, and show little interest in customer experience. Many staff members have been there for years, which suggests this is not a training gap but a deeply ingrained culture problem. 3. Restaurant failure despite strong potential The restaurant space itself is attractive, but it is effectively non-functional due to poor service: * Breakfast is extremely basic, lacking quality fruit and offering only local-style coffee with no proper alternatives. * Cocktail service is substandard - staff lack the skills to prepare even basic drinks properly. * Most critically: the service is so uninviting that guests simply avoid the restaurant altogether. During the April 30 holiday, when the hotel was fully booked, the restaurant remained completely empty. That is not a demand issue - it is a management failure. (Photos available.) 4. Housekeeping is the only consistent strength Rooms are clean and housekeeping performs well. However, bedding is noticeably aging and due for replacement. 5. Absentee management I have never seen the owner or manager present on-site. This raises a fundamental question: how can leadership understand or improve the guest experience if they are not experiencing it themselves?
