Outstanding lake location close to dining, golf, biking, ORV trails and Mackinaw Island. Lots to do in the area or a great place to relax.
Long Lake is a very clean 400-acre spring fed lake. The lake frontage at the home does not have a beach but the docks, swim platform, decks and kayaks serve as great areas to appreciate the lake.
Easily accessible house with 3 main floor bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with a twin bed, and 2 full baths. The second floor has a half bath, 1 bedroom with a full bed and a loft with 2 twin beds. In addition, there is a private room on the deck with a full size futon that sleeps two.
Beautiful views of the lake from large windows throughout the house. Full cooking facilities, full-size washer and dryer and lots of room to entertain and enjoy the serenity from the large decks and porches. Plenty of room to play with the large yard, bonfire pit with grill, hot tub and 150 feet of water frontage including a guest docking area for your boat.
Long Lake is considered among the cleanest lakes in Northern Michigan. It's is a clear spring-fed lake, so its water is more consistently filtered through the natural spring-feeding process than are waters that flow from one lake to another. The average depth of Long Lake is 30 feet with a maximum depth of about 60 feet. It's a great all sports lake which offers skiing, tubing, swimming, fishing, and relaxation.
The home is on a quiet gravel road with little traffic to enjoy a stroll or biking. Close proximity to Mackinaw Island, Indian River, inland waterways, cross in the woods and the finest multi-purpose trail systems in the United States. Cheboygan has more rails to trails systems than anywhere in the USA if you like to get out and ride a bike, take a jog or enjoy a leisurely walk.
The Black Mountain Recreation Area offers a vast network of marked trails for hiking, ATV excursions, horseback riding snowshoeing and snowmobiling. Over 30 miles of hiking, 60 miles of off-road vehicles and 80 groomed miles of snowmobiling are all within a few miles of the house makes the area ideal for any type of outdoor adventure.
Relax, recharge, explore, roast marshmallows, star gaze, fish for Walleye off the dock, make some memories.
