DJANGO Hostel & Lounge

There was a suspension in the train services so I arrived at 2am and the owner patiently waited for me. He was really helpful and concerned!!!

I loved how close it was to the train station, the decorations, the bar, the owner spoke English, the property was close to all the food, the shower was very nice, the room had AC, a place to get free clean water before the hike, and the room was very well priced.

The owner was great. He was very helpful with an early check in and assistance with locating a lost item.

Django's location to the Tanabe Tourist Information Center, the Kii-Tanabe train station and the #2 bus stop for Takajiri-oji was excellent. For Kumano Kodo trekkers the Tokei shrine was an easy 6-8 minute walk. There are many nearby restaurants and cafes for meals as well as a 7-11 next to the train station. Check in was incredibly easy and the owner (?) was exceptionally kind. My arrival to Django was a bit later than expected so I sent a message to the property. The response I received was not to worry as someone will wait for my arrival. The private entrance for guests was terrific. A microwave was available in the small common area. My room was very clean and the AC worked well. There is a small room fridge, hot water maker and coffee/tea. A washer and dryer was on site. Showers were spotless and there was no lack of hot water. Towels, slippers, body wash, shampoo and conditioner and toothbrushes (gratis) were provided.
