disappointing, won’t go back

The vicinity to the beach, the fact that they had a pool and a sauna/wellness area.

no attention to detail room: remote control not cleaned and dirty, an already opened and eaten jar of Pringles Chips in the cupboard, the door in the bathroom was grubby. When you don’t look at the details, you think the room is fine. But then, when you take a second look at smaller things, you realise it is below the standard of a 4 Star superior Hotel. The pool looks nice but the floor is always wet, which can be a hazard for seniors, the towels are not restocked regularly, the little food bits like nuts and dried fruits in the sauna area are old (the dried fruits started to stick together with a dusty taste). In the breakfast restaurant at peak times they stock up regularly but the silver ware is not clean and should be changed regularly too. I could go on, but i think these few examples are enough. It is a staple hotel in Cadzand that had a make over a few years back with the intention of becoming a first class venue, but, for me it is a lot of « show and m’as-tu vu » and not a beacon of quality.

No business center. We would have loved showers coming in from the beach to the hotel rather than bringing sand through the hotel.

very good quality hotel right on the beach

very good quality hotel. excellent adult spa area (kids can be noisy in pool but go through the secret adult area and its a nice quiet relaxing wellness area, shame there is not a small pool through there). breakfast pretty good but more outside seating would be good only about 6 tables and they could make bigger area easily. No real dinner options unless you want expensive meal in restaurant but plenty of local option. rooms very comfortable and excellent bathrooms.

kids bit noisy in pool and at breakfast, maybe a family breakfast zone would be good idea.

We would fully recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about visiting Cadzand-Bad.

All of our special requests were met by the great staff. The restaurant was excellent. The breakfasts were the best on our entire vacation - including pancakes ! The whole hotel seems new and built to block out noises from wind, rain, traffic or crowd noise.

Our room was not fully cleaned on all occasions, but this was quickly rectified.
