We had a very pleasant experience staying at this beautiful venue in Baile Herculane, Romania. This is a modern and cosy Pension that is remarcably clean and stands out with its high standard and professional services as well as friendly hosts and personeel. Happy to return here in the future without any reserves. Highly recommended.

In baie au fost cateva probleme. Apa de pe blatul chiuvetei se scurge pe podea. Sistemul de la dus nu a fost pe placul meu.

The rooms were clean, and the building itself has a certain historical charm, likely reflecting its Austro-Hungarian heritage. The location was decent, not far from the town center.

Unfortunately, this was our most expensive stay in Romania, yet it lacked the hospitality we experienced elsewhere. There was a significant language barrier, and the owner didn’t seem interested in communicating with us at first, continuing to speak only Romanian. Even after we suggested using Google Translate, the interaction felt cold and impersonal. Parking was also problematic – there’s limited space, and if you arrive in a larger SUV, be prepared for confusing or passive-aggressive directions on where to park, which added unnecessary stress. While some of the tension may have come from miscommunication, the overall experience left a disappointing impression.
