Our stay at Hokutan Abashiriku was a highlight of our trip. Our check-in was smooth and the staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived.
The room was spacious and comfortable. We had a view of Lake Abashri which was beautiful, especially in the evening. The room felt well-maintained and clean.
The real star here is the food. Both buffet dinner and breakfast were excellent - lots of local seafood and Hokkaido specialities, beautifully presented and delicious.
The public bath was also great, clean, relaxing and a great way to unwind after a day out. Slippers and Yukatas were provided which was very convenient.
Overall, this hotel offers good value, great hospitality, wonderful meals and a peaceful environment.

food is nice
location and transportation.
to go to hotel u need advance 3 day reservation before check in for shuttle pass pick up..Sometime plan may change so is very inconvenient.
free shuttle bus schedule have very limited choice of time to go to the JR station .
there is no taxi at the nearest train station to go to the hotel, we have to walk more than 1 km to the hotel with our luggage. there are another couple also same like us have to walk to the hotel.
