    The room size and sleep quality were excellent. Beautiful gardens and great views of the mountains. Plenty of meal options in and around the property. Great location for travel to SJO at the start or end of your Costa Rican vaca.

    My daughter and I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cariari San Jose on my 40th birthday. I chose this hotel as it was located close to the airport but also because the facilities looked amazing. Upon arrival we were greeted by staff who helped unload our luggage and we were promptly checked in. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful and even gave us an upgraded room since it was my milestone birthday! We also were given some delicious warm cookies. The only thing I wish could have been different is a longer stay to have more time to enjoy the hotel! We will definitely return to stay here when next in Costa Rica!
