Reiterhof Berggut Gaicht

L’environnement est extraordinaire. Les paysages environnants sont sublimes. Il est intéressant de voir la vie et l’activité d’un haras. La cafetière à grain dans l’appartement offrait un très bon café face aux montagnes le matin. La salle de bain était très bien. Mais…

L’appartement était sans charme, le mobilier vieillot à l’instar d’une bonne partie du matériel de cuisine (le manche de la poêle tenait à peine). L’accueil a été tiède et personne ne s’est préoccupé de savoir si tout allait bien à aucun moment de notre séjour, pas plus qu’en partant. J’ai rendu les clés, on m’a dit au revoir. Les seules véritables interactions que nous avons eu c’était pour nous faire engueuler parce qu’il ne fallait pas faire ceci ou cela… Bref, plus le sentiment d’être tolérés que d’être les bienvenus. C’est vraiment dommage car l’endroit est vraiment très beau.

What a find, absolutely amazing property, before arriving in Tannheimer, we very excited about the location we were about to visit however, Reiterhof Berggut was itself a gem, property was easily worth of 5 star rating, absolutely massive with all the mod cons. Very comfortable and conveniently located to explore Tannheimer Tal. It is situated in a small village setting (Gaicht) with horse stables on one side and little cute church at the other. Since property located in a valley views from the property were breathtaking. For the animal lovers, specially horse lovers it is a treat! Hosts allowed us to visit the stables and interact with horses (from a distance). It was absolute treat for our nephew who loves animals and pets. Apart from horses, there were chickens, Lamas/Alpacas, goats at thr farm. There was a nice gentle walk around the property which we explored. Host Kevin was very, welcoming, friendly and helpful. Parking for 2 cars was available just next to the main entrance. Property was full of character, multiple living rooms, huge kitchen and dining room. You could see the horses grazing from the dining table. There was a library which our daughter throughly enjoyed, views from the library were amazing, perfect place for reading and reflection! There was a very large outdoor balcony perfect for relaxing after a long day's of hiking. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need for a self catering facility and more. We do travel a lot been to many great countries and tourists location but I can easily say Reiterhof Berggut got to be one of the best places we have stayed. I wish we could have spent at least a week!

Only minor issue was not having cooling fans available, weather was particularly hot when we stayed, record breaking June hot weather was recorded in Europe that week. However, this was not a huge problem as weather cooled down considerably at night.

Cadre super. À proximité des départs de plusieurs randonnées. Très calme. Vie dans la ferme/écurie. Personnel très sympa

Beaucoup d’équipements manquants pour pouvoir cuisiner d’une manière correcte. La propreté des lieux est à revoir.

Geräumig, sauber, gute Kommunikation vor Ort, gepflegter Hof, nette Leute, tolle Lage abseits und in der Natur.
