Lovely welcoming and friendly hotel with covered outdoor heated swimming pool. Beautiful views from the balcony. Room was a good size with a nice bed. Lots of Austrian pine! Good comfortable bed; slept well. WIFI was good. Nice toilet/shower room with good shower and plenty of hot water. Shower gel and nice towels. Bright and shiny and clean. The hosts were helpful and friendly and were kind enough to make me a good sized open sandwich as no restaurant and I’d walked there. Breakfast was the usual fayre with good ingredients. Big and warm and comfortable and clean.
Only niggles were the bedding was boiled crispy; but, clean! Typical Austrian/German pillow; full of fluff and air! Too soft. The sauna wasn’t open; not open in the summer. No restaurant as said. What ruined the whole experience was the farmer sprayed the adjoining field with liquid manure whilst I was sat on the balcony; driving me inside. Consequently couldn’t have the window or door open for the fresh mountain air!! Not the hotels fault, but.
