    Really enjoyed the bold interior choices of the hotel that were fun to look at. The staff were all nice and helpful. Breakfast was not bad and baby high chairs along with baby utensils were provided.

    Hotel Il Palazzo in Fukuoka is a design-forward stay that immediately stands out. The aesthetic feels almost cinematic, reminiscent of The Grand Budapest Hotel, with every corner carefully curated and highly photogenic. The rooms are decently sized, especially by Japan standards. The standout feature is the large circular spa tub, which adds a touch of indulgence. However, the bathroom amenities feel a bit underwhelming and could be improved to better match the overall design focus. A nice touch is the welcome chocolate, created in collaboration with one of Japan’s oldest chocolatiers, which adds a sense of heritage and thoughtfulness. The hotel also does well with its food and beverage offerings. Breakfast, served from 7:30am to 10am, has a good balance of Western and Japanese options — not overly extensive, but just right in quality and variety. There’s also a daily happy hour from 5pm to 7pm, offering both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks along with light snacks, which is a great perk for guests. Overall, a visually stunning hotel with thoughtful extras, though a few details in the room amenities could be better aligned with the overall experience.

    The room is nice and clean. Very quiet. Really impressed with the sound isolation. To me , a quiet room is the most important. Breakfast is really great. However. Hotel lack facilities like a gym as compared with other similar priced a 4 star hotel.
