Eden Hotel Früh am Dom

The cathedral is right across the lane and is awesome to behold. Breakfast was excellent. Lot's of restaurants and shopping opportunities within 600 meters

Not something they can control, but the construction in the area is a royal pain. And while close by, the parking garage, again not something they can control, only takes exact change, so that's a little hiccup

It’s a comfortable and clean hotel, the breakfast had plenty of tasty options, and it was amazing to have a view of the cathedral! I felt it was really good value for money!

Location is very central. 5 minute walk from the train station. Room was of a good size with plenty of storage. Bathroom was a good size with plenty of towels and shower gel provided.

Room was noisy. No fault of the hotel. But when it starts at 7am and very loud. It's not what you really want. Although a bottle of water is provided in the room . I would have liked a tea or coffee option. Free tea and coffee is available in reception.

Location is very super central to the cathedral, a few minutes walk to the riverside where there are lots of restaurants and brauhauses and also to the AltStadt which is very pleasant to walk around, It is also a 2 minute walk to the train station. The breakfast buffet was very good each morning and the staff in the breakfast room very attentive.

Unfortunately there is an event space on the 6th floor which I didn't know about. I was given a room on the 5th floor so when there was an event there the first day I could hear it quite well in my room, It was early evening time though and was finished at a reasonable time. However on the second night there was some sort of party on up there until midnight, very noisy. There was a warning when booking that there was construction going on next to the hotel which I knew about - these started work at 7am. Room also had no a/c so had to keep a window open as it was quite warm.
