From the moment we arrived, the staff consistently went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Their attentiveness was evident in several thoughtful gestures:
Baby amenities: Upon request, they promptly provided a baby cot, but what impressed us most was the additional bottle sterilizer and warmer — anticipating our needs as parents and ensuring convenience.
Birthday celebration: To celebrate my son’s birthday, the hotel surprised us with a cake and balloons. This thoughtful touch made the occasion extra special and showed genuine care for our family.
Flexible checkout: Understanding our situation, they graciously allowed a late checkout at 1 PM, giving us more time to prepare without feeling rushed.
Lobby assistance: Each time we entered or exited the car, the lobby personnel were quick to assist by opening the door — a small but consistent act of courtesy that made us feel valued.
Overall, the staff’s attentiveness was not limited to fulfilling requests but extended to anticipating needs and adding thoughtful touches that elevated our experience. Their genuine hospitality made us feel cared for and appreciated throughout our stay.
Suggestions for Improvement
While our overall experience was wonderful, a few adjustments could make the stay even better:
Breakfast variety: Expanding the range of food options at Tides would be appreciated. For example, adding more hot breakfast viands such as corned beef and tapa would give guests greater choice and satisfaction.
Bacon preparation: Currently, bacon is grilled, which is a healthier option. However, offering a crispy fried version alongside it would cater to guests who prefer the traditional style.
Pastry and pancake temperature: Croffles and pancakes were served cold. Keeping them warm would enhance their flavor and overall breakfast enjoyment.
