Super Team .. fabulous breakfast .. location!

The staff and team there are super friendly from the chef at breakfast to Pedro on reception ..Jose in the bar Super Team .. always smiling and welcoming

The room could have had a bedside rug to step onto in this colder spell the room is completely tiled and it was ‘cold’

Very comfortable hotel in a very quiet area

Very comfortable rooms with large balconies in a pleasant location just a few minutes' drive from San Pedro de Alcântara and Puerto Banus, with good beaches, beautiful promenades filled with terraces and beach clubs, and the incredible nightlife of the Banus marina. Excellent breakfast, good outdoor pool, comfortable leisure areas, and impeccable cleanliness.

Far from Marbella (a 30-minute drive). Unfriendly staff, with a negative highlight being Laura, the receptionist. Unfriendly, uninterested in solving the room's air conditioning problem, inflexible in finding solutions, and petulant in her approach to the customer. A hotel chain like Barceló takes care to train its employees in customer service and excellent service quality. If an employee fails to practice this, they should seek a career in a 2-star hotel or guesthouse. That's my advice to Laura.

Good choice for resting

Comfortable room, very clean. The food in the buffet is also of good quality, and there's always soup for kids, which is a nice plus. Pool area is relaxing and quiet. 15min distance by car from visiting areas such as Old Town and Puerto Banus.

No vegan options in the buffet. Very limited non-dairy options for people with lactose intolerance, and the dishes in the buffet had no indication of ingredients. Parking for guests is paid, 15€ per day. Kids club has no activities, beyond a disco/cinema hour at the end of the day.

Enjoyed our stay at the hotel very comfortable.

Entrance is lovely. Hotel is very clean. Beds are extremely comfortable. Room is large and roomy. The staff are all friendly. Were able to get sunbeds at the pool over the Easter period as not crowded. Loved the little van as the pool bar very novel. Breakfast was very good. Food in the Santa Maria bar was very good and you can order room service from the same menu.

As the property was in a residential area near golf courses it lacked a shop for convenience. It took 25 minutes to walk from the hotel and along slip roads from the motorway to find shops/supermarket. It was ok but you wouldn’t want to do that often as could be dangerous as electric scooters on the path and cars going very fast on the road. Not close to amenities or even the beach so taxis / Ubers are required. No entertainment Only news channels on the tv. On the balcony the balustrade needs sanding as the wooden rail was all splintered and tired needs freshening up.

Food in snack bar was brilliant Pool views and spacious rooms was great Lovely hot clean showers

Being locked out of room because we had a tab bill on our room from the snack bar for 29 euros and we weren’t even due home for 2 days . Also wouldn’t change Scottish notes for euros . It left me very inconvenienced and the manager was very rude and not even sorry just said no won’t change

Disappointing stay

Hear my disappointing experience with hotel Staff at reception we booked two rooms for 4 adults and we were 3 adults 1 child 7 years and an 1 year old infant they insisted for us to pay 50 euros for the child .. although we booked an extra space. For the infant they refused to give us crib for free although clearly mentioned it’s free for children to have cribs . This kind of things very uncomfortable for family with kids we want to have a good helping hotel to provide truth in booking.com they provided only lies to trick us after we booked and paid in advance. Location is the worst no public transport around you will be stuck with ordering taxis all your stay .

The buffet and staff were exceptional love it there .

I think they double charged me for the buffet one day the desk said it was 44 euro. The next morning 50 Euro for breakfast and dinner the host said it was all included in my fees no need to pay.

Above set expectations, clean and enjoyable staff, congrats!

We liked staff, location and room mostly, but there were other things we liked.

Some loud foreign guests knocking on doors during night and another foreign teens turning fire alarm at 6:00AM and having to evacuate the hotel with the kids.

Absolutely loved it here was beautiful! The pool was amazing the food was fab and hotel was beautiful our room was brilliant too lovely and comfy. I also used the gym which was brilliant LOADS of equipment
