Rich was fantastic with responding to questions and concerns prior to our stay, providing responses within a few hours. Also provided follow up on amenities such as if we wanted the pool heated to ensure he had it ready for us. The house was clean and ready for us, and was a good location to various attractions in Naples. Check out was easy and simple. Overall a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Chill. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The outside tiki was a nice shelter while the rain storms passed through. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and having a fan out there was a huge plus in the summer heat. Rich was great host and easily accessible. Thanks again for a relaxing stay at Casa Chill.

It's hard for a landlord to make everything right all the time and unfortunately we got hit with a couple of negative events. Rich forgot to have his cleaning crew clean come out so we checked in and it was filthy. Half empty food containers filled the kitchen and my wife says the hall toilet was the grossest she's seen. Rich was nice enough to let us go into the house at 3:00 and he got the cleaning crew to come out by 4:00, but we had to sit outside until about 6:30 to get into our bedroom and bath. Needless to say this messed up our plans for the evening. We might have gone in the pool but it was covered with some weird unknown substance. I tried to skim it but it was too small to skim. After a couple days Rich found the culprit - a palm tree was dropping large pollen through the screen into the pool. After 2.5 days it subsided and the pool filter was able to strain it out.
We mostly enjoyed the pool after that but unfortunately the two story house next door is being renovated and the workers there talked to us from the second story deck every time we went outside. We're friendly people but prefer privacy in our own pool. Tall shrubs would help.
It's very nice that the house itself is full of new cabinets, tile, appliances and kitchen gadgets but we were surprised by the main living area being so dark - the dining room has no door or window so it's a big dark space in the middle of everything. I think adding a door would be a significant improvement and increase the resale value of the home. It's also weird that you have to get to the pool by going through the master bedroom or out the front door. A door in the dining room would solve that problem. Also beware of the sharp corners on the footboard of the master bed. Our legs are very bruised from hitting it.
The couch is comfortable but there is no cable TV that I could find - everything is accessed through a firestick so you need to be a little techy to figure out TV. There are no written instructions for anything in the house. I'm used to VRBO rentals having a folder of instructions and tips for everything. Maybe there was one here and someone put it away somewhere.
The neighborhood is "rustic" but I imagine Centennial Park will help speed gentrification. I was surprised that Rich lives upstairs. I see now that other reviews mention it so my bad. I'm sure this is a great property for most people. We just had a series of unfortunate events that made for a less than ideal experience.
