I was very disappointed because Agoda stated that the hotel had air conditioning, which was one of the main reasons I chose to book this property. I specifically looked for a hotel with AC because I knew the temperature would reach around 35°C.
However, upon arrival, the receptionist informed us that none of the rooms had air conditioning. The stay was extremely uncomfortable, especially because we had booked the hotel as a staycation to relax and get a good night’s sleep. Instead, the room was unbearably hot, and I had to wake up at around 4:00 AM just to open the window and let some air in.
This was a major inconvenience and completely defeated the purpose of our staycation. Had I known that there was no air conditioning, I would have preferred to stay at home rather than book a room at this hotel. I hope Agoda and the hotel can address this issue and ensure that the amenities advertised online accurately reflect what is actually available.
