    Booked for 2 nights 10 to 12th May through Agoda.com having seen some good reviews and rooms appeared to be well presented. Reception was dark and smelled stale although staff member was pleasant. Room was ground floor at end of dark corridor. Room was underwhelming (even for a 2 star) and did not resemble the images of a superior room that we had booked. Room smelled unpleasant and numerous stains on spare pillows which from the smell had clearly not been washed. Within 10 minutes we left and stayed at a different hotel. Subsequent research of reviews appear to show others had a similar experience when booking through a booking website site whereby least pleasant rooms are reserved for those bookings. We have only positive experiences when booking through booking sites and don’t believe this is the booking sites fault. We would not recommend this hotel unless they made some big improvements.
