It was quiet and peaceful. Our hosts were very friendly, helpful but not too intrusive. We loved our short conversations with them, but our French language was limited. The villa itself was kept in a very good condition and very clean.

The accommodation was very clean and overall apartment well equipped. The pool is fantastic and kept very clean by pierre. Lovely outlook from patio and pool across the countryside and very relaxing and peaceful environment. Slightly outside the village and would say about a 10 min walk although we had a car so never walked it. Good boulangerie in village for fresh baguettes, croissants etc and well worth a visit. Well provisioned mini supermarket in the village. More facilities in pont st esprit about 10 min drive away. Great location for the ardeche gorges and wider provence area. Pierre and his wife were great hosts and very friendly. Be prepared to speak french or use google translate with them as they do not speak english but are happy to use translation to get message across. They will also provide recommendations on places to visit. We had some great meals out and the rose wine in the area is very affordable and high quality.

Best gîte we've ever had (over 40 years of such holidays). Immaculate place with extremely friendly, pleasant hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Pool is a highlight, as is local area. Car essential to make most of the area.

Just what we wanted

We arrived with our 3 young children for a week in July and were greeted by the owners who were lovely and they showed us around, the gite was clean and tidy and well equipped, the pool area was beautiful and in pristine condition and totally safe for the little ones as had a safety fence around our garden/bbq area, we traveled to different rivers and towns that were only a short drive away with beautiful views on the way, would highly recommend and great for families.

The owners couldn’t have been nicer! They made us so welcome and nothing was any trouble. The house is comfortable and clean with everything you need . The private pool and bbq area were lovely. Secure parking was a plus. Driving distance to some lovely places to visit. We will return !

We had a wonderful holiday here. The owners, Pierre and Mireille, were very kind and generous hosts; the house was spacious, clean, well equipped and had two good air conditioning units which was particularly appreciated during a hot spell. The pool is particularly nice, and enclosed so we didn't have to worry about our small son going for an unsupervised swim! The area is also lovely. We don't drive so appreciated being within walking/cycling distance of the village with a bakery, butcher and - most important- vineyard selling rather good wine and fruit from the local farms. We hired bikes and explored some of the beautiful countryside: lots of quiet roads through vineyards and an easy route to the Ardeche Gorge where you can swim in the river. All in all exactly what we wanted and we hope to come back!

Le gîte se situe dans un petit village un peu à l'écart des flux touristiques et correspond tout à fait à la description du site. Les propriétaires sont très aimables et toujours à l'écoute en cas de besoin ou de problème. Les enfants ont surtout apprécié la piscine qui est nettoyé quotidiennement. A l'exception de quelques avions de chasse le site est très calme et se propose pour des vacances relaxes. A recommander absolument aux familles et aux personnes cherchant le calme.

Das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Die Kinder hatten spass im Garten und am Baden. Die Anlage ist Kindersicher, da es ein Tor gibt zum sehr schönen Pool. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett. Alles bestens.

Location possédant un très bel espace piscine/terrasse. La maison est fonctionnelle mais très difficile à rafraichir en cas de grosse chaleur, surtout la nuit. Les propriétaires sont (très) présents sur le site. La région est très agréable à visiter et la localisation du gîte permet de bien rayonner

Une quinzaine confortable

Une quinzaine confortable

Nous avions la villa lavande (il y a deux villas voisines). Celle-ci s'est avérée confortable et fonctionnelle : ventilateur, deux WC, volets électriques, ... M. et Mme CLAMONT ont été accueillants et arrangeants. La piscine ainsi que ses abords (WC, douche, transats, etc.) sont pratiques et confortables. Le fait de partager cette piscine avec la famille de l'autre villa n'est pas dérangeant. Au contraire, si vous avez des enfants, ceux-ci s'amusent avec les petits voisins et c'est plutôt sympathique. L'accès se fait très facilement par l'autoroute. Deux semaines ne sont pas de trop pour profiter de cette région qui offre de multiples possibilités. Nous vous recommandons particulièrement le pont du Gard, ainsi que la réplique de la grotte Chauvet. En conclusion, nous avons passé deux bonnes semaines.

Habitués des plages de sables fins, cette année une première pour nous au mas des Cigales. Quel bonheur avec nos deux petits enfants. Merci pour l'accueil des propriétaires . La belle piscine, les petits déjeuners, les senteurs de Provence, le chants des cigales. Les promenades sous les pins. Le calme, le soleil. . Un séjour superbe dans ce joli mas provençal. De bons souvenirs. Peut-être a l'année prochaine.

Très belle villa attenante à celle des propriétaires, bordée de vignes, dans le plus grand calme. Grande piscine aux normes de sécurité à partager éventuellement avec les locataires de la villa des propriètaires. Compte tenu de sa surface cela ne pose pas de problème. Intérieur de caractère, spacieux, clair, tout confort, très propre et bien décoré. Tout est nickel et pévu pour passer d'agréable vacances dans une très belle région touristique, les gorges de l'Ardèche entre autres n'étant pas très loin. Acceuil chaleureux. A recommander sans arrière pensée.

Bonjour à tous Pas de surprise à notre arrivée au Clos des Cigales. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et charmants. La villa est telle que l'on attendait. Spacieuse, bien décorée et surtout dotée de tout l'appareillage electro-ménager utile. La piscine est très agréable et les espaces verts bien entretenus. Un seul bémol, un peu éloigné des commerces. Je recommande cette location aux adultes voulant passer des vacances tranquilles. F Popoff
