We had a garden room, it was lovely to sunbathe in privacy on loungers on our own terrace. Bottle of water every day. The room was immaculate, housekeeping perfect and so polite. The food was AMAZING. Gorgeous breakfast, spoilt for choice. We ate dinner at the hotel for some nights. Huge variety, beautifully presented. Thank you to the chefs. It was fresh every morning and every dinner, I didn't notice anything that was leftovers or re-heated. The facilities were all very clean, for example the toilets in the lobby and communal areas seemed like no one ever used them, that's how clean. The beach is lovely, fine sand no pebbles and the sea was warm (early Sept). It's a shame it's not a private beach as such, as it charges 12 Euros to hire a lounger and umbrella per person per day. Which is a lot if you want to divide time between beach and hotel, as hotel pool is freezing. Location is perfect, only a few seconds to walk out on to Faliraki strip restaurants and shops. 20 mins to the airport, 20 mins from Rhodes Old Town, bus stop just outside. The only thing which was frustrating was how cold the gorgeous pool was - hardly anyone swimming. A few Germans were brave enough to go in but that's all. It's such a shame as we would've swam constantly, but sadly all we did was stay on the loungers and look at it. It's like a Rhodes thing to not have heated pools, so no one swims andd pools are empty! Guys, you're a 5* resort with perfect service - please heat the pool! Even a few degrees would help!
