    Our stay was great. Very comfy large room, the rooftop pool is a nice size and it's really clean. The breakfast has an excellent selection including mimosas which is a lovely touch. Would stay again.

    We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of our 7 days in Madeira and 2 nights at the end. The first stay we had a welcome basket of a bottle of wine, chocolates, cookies and a bottle of water. They also offered a welcome glass of wine upon checking in. The second stay we had none of these things at all. When we asked why, we were given some vague explanation of different booking platforms. Weird since I booked through same app. agoda. The front desk guy offered to give us a complementary bottle of water but it never happened. The hallway to our room was pitch dark at night upon returning from the day’s activities; kind of unsafe to not see where you are going. Also, housekeeping was inconsistent with restocking the toiletries. The room size was spacious and the kitchenette well stocked with basic supplies,. The pillows were very lumpy and super soft— needs to be replaced. The bed itself was ok
