Spacious, clean, modern room with spectacular ocean and pool views. The room had many lighting options. Staff were all very friendly and warm.
Regular bus service to Funchal city and only 10 minutes transfer from the airport.
There was a selection of shops, bars, and restaurants nearby.
Breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, with a great selection on offer and nicely presented.
The pool areas were clean, quiet, and peaceful. Plenty of modern and clean sun loungers available.

- comfortable mattress and pillows
- tea/coffee facilities in the room
- (limited) parking available in front of the hotel
- little balcony with a sea view
- close to the ocean „beach“
- central if you want to walk to many restaurants/shops
- fantastic breakfast buffet
- pool outdoor seemed very nice - we did not use it
- two single beds pushed together - not very comfortable for a couple!

Gym, room
The fact that the parking is not for free and it’s always a challenge to find a spot. Another challenge is to find free sun-beds either at the beach or pool (we stayed on the floor a serial of times).
