The hotel is very beautiful. Had the right balance of modern amenities (bathroom, coffee and tea service in-room, etc.) and the charm of an upscale accommodation in Scotland. The management and staff were all very welcoming and helpful (especially Lauren, who kindly suggested and offered us water and snacks to go when we were running late for our GlenAllachie distillery tour and had yet to have lunch). Dinner and breakfast were both excellent. We only wish we could have stayed longer, and will definitely recommend to friends who may find themselves in the area.

In the area we needed to be - capable and nice staff.

Fantastic breakfast, great whisky room with knowledgeable staff, staff very friendly and would do anything to make your stay comfortable. We dined in hotel every night and the food was really good. Close to everything we wanted to see. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful building of the hotel
Interesting bar with a great selection of whiskies.
Restaurant has a good menu and tasty dishes.
Beds are comfortable.
Rooms are extremely small and very heavily furnished. We had four rooms, 3 were tiny and only 1 was OK.
No one to help with luggage to the first floor up and down.
A tiny rack to hang your clothes.
Dim and dull dining and breakfast rooms.
