Excellent location - close to old town (but not noisy surroundings), bus station, shops, minimarkets and Peneco Beach, good facilities, very nice and kind host (thank you, Leça, for everything!). Our kids are missing Peneco, both the beach and the apartment :).

The location is on the edge of old town. Close to the center but far away enough to not hear the bars that much.
The room is clean (and cleaned every week).
The host is easily contacted via WhatsApp and responds quite vast (on messages and requests).
The furniture (kitchen cupboards and closets) is dated but functional and clean.
The bed is not for large people ( >1,90M) but doesn't have a foot end so that's OK.
There is a plastic? layer on top of the matrass (for hygiene I guess) which makes loud cracking noises when moving.
The top matrass was 10cm shorter then the width of the bed, which was already short (160cm or so).
