The villa was very clean, very Spanish & quaint, it was everything we were looking for to spend some quality time with the family celebrating a special birthday. There was ample room in the bedrooms and the bathrooms included complimentary toiletries which was a lovely gesture. The kitchen area, although quite small, had everything you needed to cater for eating in. Outside we made good use of the BBQ facilities as we were very lucky with the weather the first week and even managed a dip in the pool with the youngsters. Location is great for visiting both Málaga & Marbella which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. Contact with Rafa was very good and he was on hand immediately if you needed anything, this is always a good sign in my book 😁
We had a lovely time here and would not hesitate to recommend.

Wat een fantantisch huis! We hebben hier een heerlijke vakantie gehad met vrienden! Het zwembad is goed benut en vooral de kinderen hebben hier veel plezier van gehad. Alles is aanwezig van broodrooster tot wasmachine en de airco was top! En de locatie is rustig maar prima want als je de drukte wil opzoeken, is een stad als Malaga etc. op een half uurtje rijden. Auto huren is wel een must maar je kan voor de deur parkeren dus ook dat is goed geregeld! Wie weet voor herhaling vatbaar.
Het enige wat aan vervangjng toe is zijn de matrassen

Decent sized, comfortable property, well equipped and walking distance to a small supermarket and bar. Fresh eggs from chickens at the end of the garden.
Rafael (the owner) seems nice but doesn’t speak a word of English - and I don’t speak Spanish so hard to communicate.
He wasn’t there when we turned up at the place to collect the key. Sent WhatsApp and got a long message in Spanish back which we didn’t understand. turned out the property was 50m from where we were which we eventually worked out after driving round the town a few times!
The situation with the deposit is ridiculous. I have never been asked for a deposit thru booking.com. They have my credit card details so why can’t that be used as security!? I have to stump up €300 in cash and then get it back via bank transfer! God knows how that was expected to work going from Spanish to English bank- I insisted on getting the cash back at the end of the stay so I would at least have a chance to spend the Euros and not get fleeced for another currency transfer plus bank charges. Daft! Cubo (agent) just gave me Rafael’s WhatsApp number and said to talk to him - didn’t get past the initial “do you speak English”! Anyway, won’t be booking thru Cubo again.
Has A/C units in most rooms but still cold (in March).
Would have been nice to have a few things in the fridge on arrival - bread/milk, etc.
Pool unusable after Sahara sand deluge.
Water ran out on last evening (of 3 day stay) - no showers on final morning and had to flush toilet using pool water! Got back late in the evening so didn’t tell Rafael that night but texted and phoned him in the morning and eventually got a response saying the whole area had a problem. Would have been nice to have been told this rather than having to ask and strange that the bar a few hundred metres away was unaffected!
