Mary's Alpacas, Rolling Hills & Starry Night was delightful! We loved our stay in this cozy, beautiful cottage. The host was amazing! Mary was so welcoming & warm. The scenery offered serenity & peace. The animals were beautiful. It was wonderful to walk along the lanes with the leaves changing and the night sky was gorgeous. The Farm Shop held all sorts of alpaca treasures! We loved this place and hope to stay with Mary again!

This space was perfect for our family and kids! Mary and Jay are phenomenal hosts on their lovely farm. The kids loved the horses and alpaca. The space is better than advertised. Communication was impeccable. We would stay here again if we are ever back in Virginia/DC! 10/10!!!

The property was lovely. Absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated. Lots of neat books in the house. Beds were comfy. Towels were plentiful and plush. The throw carpet in the second bedroom was glorious and fluffy!!! Some minor wear and tear in the house. Some flys and drain flys in the house but no big deal.Beautiful views out of almost every window. You could see some of the alpacas out of every window in the primary bedroom, living room, and dining room. I spent every morning watching them feed the alpacas. The 2 other bedrooms and kitchen gave you up close views of the deer (especially babies). Mary (lovely hostess) met us at the house when we arrived. She had sent a message to call her a half hour before we arrived but I had no cell service until we were just about there. My bad.We got to pet some alpacas and meet a one day old baby which was incredible. We spent some time in the pool but the rule page said not to spend all day there so we tried to be mindful of that. We took a drive to the Luray caverns..which was gorgeous. We took a drive on skyline dr..equally incredible. Plenty to do around if you look. Thanks for letting us stay!
