Christos rooms milos

Nicely renovated and clean property. Room as shown in photos. Breakfast was some eggs, yoghurt, orange juice etc in the fridge every morning which was cute. Location is ok if you have a car.

Room was on the ground floor and only window was facing the road/parking space, so no privacy if you open the window or raise the blinds. TV was also very small for the size of the room

L’emplacement, la vue sur la mer, la propreté. Le petit déjeuner et les petits gâteaux offerts par la famille qui gère la propriété, ils sont très accueillants.

C’est assez petit, notamment la salle de bains et partie cuisine. Je m’attendais à une chambre plus confortable

Recently refurbished shower room 🚿. Other rooms good with a coastal theme. Panoramic view from shared terrace. Milos a more traditional Greek Islands.

The property is 30 min walk from the ferry port, some of it hilly, rural and on dirt tracks. The property itself is in a very rural location, right by a road. On arrival we were shown to a one bed apartment with the kitchen in the bedroom. This was surprising as we had booked a two bed apartment! (we like to sleep separately from the kitchen area). The owners spoke very little English so couldn't explain why this had happened. Eventually it became apparent their daughter ran the place so she was called on the phone. Turned out the daughter had decided she would give us the one bedroom apartment, without consulting us, because there was only 2 of us and the view was better! We were not at all happy so the daughter then drove over to the property and a lively discussion followed. Long story short, we eventually got a ground floor 2 bed apartment, right by the road, but it clearly had not been prepared for our stay eg the patio furniture was stacked up in the kitchen! During the stay we had ongoing problems getting hot water and eventually just stopped complaining and put up with cold water. Breakfast is exactly the same every day, delivered on a tray and you have to toast the bread in your room. On the first morning the plug used for the toaster came away from the walk, with sparks flying! There is a lack of draw storage in the bedroom. Kitchen equipment is limited with some worn out or rusty. The sitting area outside our apartment was right by the road so we used the shared terrace above our apartment.
