The Bear Den - Private 1 acre Upper Kenai Riverfront Home - Cooper Landing

The house and location were perfect. The place was clean, well stocked with everything we need to do some cooking. Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. I would 100% go back and stay here again. The only thing I would have liked would be if the bed in the back bedroom was more comfortable, but I am spoiled with a good mattress at home and do tend to have a hard time sleeping comfortably anywhere we go so it might not seem that bad to others.

Accommodations, view, and location in Cooper Landing were excellent.

Property exceeded all expectations. Wouldn't stay anywhere else on the River...except maybe the property next door (same owners).

While the check in process was easy and the home was adequate in size and location, the cleanliness was disappointing. The bathrooms looked like the floors had not been swept or wiped. The bath rug in one of the bathrooms was obviously soiled . The beds appeared to be clean sheets but made up in a rush, barely tucked in. The kitchen walls had splattered food and several pots, bowls and cooking utensils were placed in cabinets with dried food on them. The home looked like it needed a good cleaning. On several days, someone was working with drills and hammers in the garage underneath the house. It appeared , whoever cleaned the house was in a hurry and did not prepare the home adequately for the incoming guest.
