Located on the first level of the Sandstone Point complex in Lincoln City, the beach is reachable about two blocks away and down a flight of stairs. There are plenty of dining and shopping options close by, as well as a movie theater within walking distance.

The home has a bright feel with shiny wood floors to make you feel comfortable right away. A variety of furniture in the living area is great for relaxing in front of a gas fireplace and the flatscreen TV (cable and WiFi included). A balcony offers exceptional views of the Pacific and a fresh ocean breeze.

The open kitchen is not large, but it is fully equipped to meet your cooking needs. There are even extras like a coffeemaker, blender, and dishwasher for your convenience. Pull up some extra chairs and everyone can eat together around the dining table.

Two bedrooms and a futon in the living area allow up to six guests to sleep here comfortably. One room features a queen bed while the other has a set of twin bunk beds. A full shared bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

A common area outside offers picnic seating and patio chairs for enjoying the sunshine, as well as a grassy area for your four-legged friends, who are definitely welcome to join in the fun (just please note a small, nightly pet fee).

We’ve been to several VRBO‘s, and this was by far the worst. Upon arrival kitchen sink was dirty. There was food splattered on the side of the refrigerator. The futon was missing the middle leg. You only could sit on either side of the futon. Luckily, we didn’t need it for a place to sleep. The faucet to the shower dripped. The queen size mattress squeaked (an understatement) when lying down or turning over. The pots and pans were very old and wore out. There were basic things needed in order to cook, like measuring spoons and measuring cups. There was hair in the drain of the shower and hair on the walls of the shower and hair on the towels. When stripping the bed to check out, there were stains on the mattress pad. There was only one extra garbage bag. The shower gel body wash was empty. We reported the futon leg missing so we would not be charged. Someone did call us back and offer for them to come fix it right away. With all that being said, we were still able to enjoy our vacation, the view and the condo’s location near the beach.

It needed to be cleaned. There was hair on the towels, in the drain, and on the broom. The kitchen sink was dirty upon arrival. The sides of the fridge by the stove have food splattered on it. Needs new pots/pans. The double bed squeaks. When we stripped the bed to check out there were stains on it! There was one extra garbage bag in the kitchen. Needless to say, we enjoyed our trip despite the disappointment of the condo.

Apartment was cozy, but had thin walls, heard everything in the entire apartment regardless of where we were, including upstairs. No ladder for bunkbed and provided stepstool did nothing for our 8 yr old. Shower broke day one and was not fixed til middle of our stay. Provided soap and shampoo in shower smelled amazing, plenty of towels! Dog towels and water bowl was a fun surprise. No bake ware for use but plenty of pots and pans. View from our balcony was beautiful, we loved spending time outside. Pathway to the beach is very unique but not at all accessible if you have any kind of walking problem. We chose to drive down the street to a public beach instead. Overall it was a fun stay, but I don’t think we’ll be staying at this location again.

The furniture is flimsy, noisy and cheap. The shower leaked and had very little water pressure. The valve was worn out. There is a couch in the living room with large tears. The cabinets in the kitchen are missing hardware. Over all we quickly left this unit for a hotel and were much happier.

Liked the place but the kitchen was the most very poorly stocked I’ve ever been in and the shower kept running after use. I was unable to contact anyone about the shower at the office as it was closed the entire time we were there. The best part of the place was the lovely view from the balcony.

Had a blast running away from home with my dog to this great little vintage motel by the sea. We used all the amenities. Kitchen set up was great. The view of the sunset every night. A table perfectly sized for a 550 puzzle. Would stay here again!

it’s great if you’re looking for the absolute bare minimum. bedding was just a folded up sheet you had to put on yourself and i had to go buy blankets because there was only one blanket in the whole place. the faucet was running the whole time in the bathroom due to it being broke, but other than that, we had an alright time. nothing special in the slightest.

I loved the view, but this place needs a lot of help to be presentable. Both beds featured perhaps the most uncomfortable mattresses I have slept on in quite some time. The bunk beds had no ladder for a child to climb up. The furniture was wobbly and on the verge of being rubbish. The couch had 5 large tears with stuffing coming out. The bathroom tub leaked a steady stream. Paint was peeling off the fireplace and in other places.

I gave it three stars; one for the view, one for having a kitchen, and one for the ambiance of the fireplace. If you are an easy-going traveler and have low standards, this rental will be fine. Otherwise, don not have great expectations for this place. This property is a bit run down and the beds are far from comfortable. But the view is pretty good. The bathtub faucet leaks, the furniture is wobbly including the bunk beds, and the place has a bit of funk likely mold. However, the fireplace is cozy and the kitchen is a great asset. It’s a good deal for the price, but it was loud on Saturday night as it’s the bottom unit. Did I mention the view :)

The first impression, the apt was clean and well cared for. After awhile we notice the hidden defects. Tears in the seams of the couch (unnoticeable unless u sit on it). The bathrroom tub constantly ran,l The only way to use the outlet in the 2nd bathroom was to use the cadet heater as they were linked. The heater goes off, the power to the outlet goes off. The floor infront of the sliding glass door was water damaged and weak. The check in and out process was seamless. The condo sufficed for what we needed- a warm place to sleep.

The check-in at the apartment was smooth, and we enjoyed a clean unit with a nice ocean view. The proximity to the beach was convenient, only a 5-minute walk down stairs. However, the apartment showed signs of aging, with a torn and lifted carpet in the kids' bedroom. The major setback was the absence of hot water, leading to a frustrating three-hour wait on hold with Vacasa customer service. This inconvenience disrupted our family outing as we were only there for a night. Despite seeking assistance, Vacasa provided no solutions and ignored our request for a discount. In summary, while the location and initial presentation were promising, the aging apartment, lack of hot water, and poor customer service experience with Vacasa left us with a disappointing stay. Vacasa needs to prioritize property maintenance and customer satisfaction for a better rental experience.

The unit was worn down, and as stated in a September 2023 by another renter, the carpets were stained, the tub dripped, and the furniture needed replacing, both for functionality and damage. The listing states that the 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed and sofa bed, however the sofa bed/futon couch was in the living room. The bunk bed in the room was a cheap wooden slat bunk bed (not the black metal one in the pictures) with no way to get to the top bunk. My daughter had to sleep in the living room because of this. While minor, the bedding in the unit was also misrepresented - white sheets and cheap white quilts was all that was provided. The mattresses were worn and provided little support. The photos also showed 4 chairs at the table - we had 1 and 2 stools. The chair was too low for the table and the stools were too high. The view was beautiful, but I would not stay here again. Since the September 2023 review where they said they would address the concerns of that renter, it does not appear that anything had been done.

Older but clean condo with nice kitchen, pretty view, and pleasant gas fireplace. Furniture (chairs) were not as pictured but uncomfortable bench seats. WiFi slow and spotty. As noted in description beach is several blocks steep walk away. For the price it was a nice place to stay for a weekend.

good view of the ocean and everything worked just fine, clean and quiet but not a resort, more like a Motel6 that was refitted with stuff from IKEA. Perfect place for my crew to stay while on a 2 day drift fishing trip, probably stay here again next year.

Loved the view of the ocean, especially from the back patio. The apartment met our basic needs and was reasonably accessible even with my mobility limitations; I can't handle large stairways and need a cane to get about. Communicating with Acasa management was only by online messaging and they offered assurances of resolving the issue where we did not have any TV signal access, but no action taken for three days. The problem was only resolved after we were given access to local management on the third day. The apartment was adequate, recognizing that they have done the best one could expect with updating a 1950's apartment. The primary bedroom was too small for the queen bed provided. One side of the bed was tight against the wall making getting in and out of bed a little difficult. Also, there was no dresser in the room. There was a small side table and lamp on one side of the bed. The fireplace in the living room area was very nice and the sofa was quite comfortable. The dinning table was too high to use for dinning so we used it as a pantry. The kitchen provided a nice full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and electric stove/oven. However, there are not enough plug-ins for both the coffee maker and toaster so we plugged in the toaster on the dinning table. There was one very nice frying pan and an adequate supply of cooking utensils. There was an adequate number of drinking glasses and plates but not enough silverware.

This property was not what was advertised at all. The property had dirty carpets, blinds that were broken, a constant stream of running water in the bathtub, a musty smell, cracks in the walls in the bathroom, and scuffs on the wall. I was told I would have someone from the property to come and check it out for me, after waiting 3 hours I finally found another place to stay. I am still waiting on someone to contact about a refund since I never stayed there. Customer service is terrible.

Wish we had a zero star option. The listing lied it slept 6 adults, bunk beds weren’t safe and had no ladder, mattresses were horrible, fireplace had been broken for months, heaters couldn’t keep up, outlets wouldn’t hold chargers, not enough blankets, only one wine glass, neighbors smoking both sides on the decks, and could hear everything all around us all hours. When reported the issues that could’ve been resolved we were ignored. Very dissatisfied!

The bathtub ran constantly. There were no baking dishes, can opener or enough pots and pans. The floor was uneven, spongy and dirty, My white sox were filthy. The attendant was very nice and responsive. The view and sounds of the ocean were great. I will use VRBO again but was disappointed in this one.

The unit did have a nice view of the ocean. It was clean. The unit was not well appointed. It needs another couple of comfortable chairs (not folding chairs). The kitchen needs to have a large non-stick frying pan, a cheese grater and salt and pepper and a toaster. The bunk beds need new mattresses.

I wish it was better I was really looking forward to this trip and to stay in this house. The reviews looked great and I was excited for our weekend. We were highly disappointed when we got there. There was trash left on the counter, old coffee left in the pot, dirt all over the floor, trash in the fridge and the blind to the main bedroom didn’t work. It looked like the cleaners didn’t even come and I just walked into someone’s house. The fire place was also sticking out of the wall and the handle to the main door was loose. I think it was overpriced for what we got. Overall this place seemed really sketchy and I will not be returning.

Not only was the place not as described. The fireplace was broken with glass and one of rooms smelled horrible and had dead flies all under the bed. We couldn’t use the room.
