About this villa rental
The very well maintained detached villa with private pool offers up to 6 people on over 160 square meters of living space and a flat 1200 square meters of land a comfortable holiday. From the spacious open living, dining and kitchen area you have direct access to the large sheltered terrace. It faces south and invites you to relax and sunbathe all year round. Directly to the terrace is the approx. 5x10 meter private pool and provides refreshment and swimming fun. Thanks to the permanently installed outdoor grill, nothing stands in the way of a cozy barbecue. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 2 bedrooms are equipped with 160 x 200 cm double beds. 1 bedroom is equipped with two 90 x 200 centimeter single beds, which can easily be converted into a double bed. For small guests, a cot and high chair are available. A play tower with swings and slide as well as a lawn provide for play fun.
Of course, the house has the necessary official permits for the official rental - 'Alojamento Local' and meets the associated quality standards!
Western Algarve: In contrast to the southern Algarve, there are no bed castles and apartment settlements in the western Algarve. The spectacular coast with its up to 100 meters steeply sloping cliff formations is uniquely beautiful and interrupted again and again by beautiful beaches. Often, small rivers on the beaches lead into the sea, which are very popular especially with children. On our website (link at the bottom of this page) you will find more information about the area.
Further surroundings: Especially for longer stays, it is also worthwhile to wander a bit further into the distance. Within an hour's drive, you can reach the tourist centers of the Southern Algarve, with golf courses, marinas, shopping centers and aqua parks. In just under 3 hours drive west you reach the beautiful Andalusian city of Seville with its palaces, churches and beautiful buildings. It takes just as long to reach the north and you will reach the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, which is definitely worth a visit.
Getting there: The nearest airport is Faro. It takes about an hour to get to Casa Sol. Faro is served by all known airlines. In any case, we recommend that you also check Lisbon and Seville as a destination, as there are often very cheap flights to these destinations, which more than compensate for the slightly longer journey, especially for several people.

We had an enjoyable week exploring the local area. No shortage of beaches to visit and walks along the coast. The week we were there was quite misty but we always found sun within a short drive. The house is very well organized and clean with everything you could need. The kids enjoyed the slide and sand outside.

Wir waren drei Wochen dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist ein sehr schönes Haus mit großem Pool, in dem nichts fehlt, in einer traumhaften Gegend. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und waren immer ansprechbar bei eventuellen Fragen. Wir hatten nichts zu beanstanden und kommen sehr gern wieder.

"casa sol" liegt in einem ruhigen Wohnort, perfekt als Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den zahlreichen wunderschönen Buchten, Stränden und Wandertouren. Ausstattung gut, in Küche alles vorhanden. Wer Ikea liebt fühlt sich hier sehr wohl, Haus und Außenanlage sehr gut gestaltet, Pool sehr schön, konnte leider nicht genutzt werden, weil es im Mai noch zu kalt war. Nicht beheizbar wie im Internet beschrieben. Bis auf Terrassentür hatten die Fenster + Türen keine Fliegenschutzgitter. Wir sind leicht gestochen worden. Handtuchwechsel fand nicht statt, weil Waschmaschine vorhanden ist. So mussten wir Handtücher und Bettgarnitur selber waschen und bügeln, da bei der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit die Wäsche nicht trocknet. Vielen Dank an die Hausbetreuer für ihre hervorregende Betreuung. Tipp: Wer spät anreist, sollte vor der Ankunft unbedingt einkaufen. In Aljezur (8 km entfernt) schließt der Supermarkt um 20:00 Uhr.
