Loved this villa - we were playing golf so it was ideal location for us. but not near restaurants other than the clubhouse/hotel so we self catered (popped into George to the supermarkets). We really enjoyed the space and the feeling of home. the little dipping pool was nice on the hot days. The kitchen was well kitted out and we appreciated the water and milk / tea and coffee already present. The bedrooms are a good size and plenty of space to put clothes etc. We used the garage to store our golf clubs overnight. The views across the gorge were lovely in the morning and we could see to the 6th hole on the golf course (at a distance). The agent for the villa was very responsive and all the instructions on how to get to the villa were spot on (be aware the google pin if you look ahead of time on Google Earth is in the wrong spot). The security is very tight at the gate - driving licences required each time plus the PIN code the agent sends. The area is very safe as a result.
As mentioned in other reviews there is no air con at the property. And the fans that are provided are not up to the job. My husband found it a bit tricky sleeping as he gets quite hot. It would be better if the property either put in ceiling fans or had the larger portable fans. We didn't mind the the lack of black out blinds as we are early risers but I think if you like to sleep in or have children it might be more difficult. I would also add a few kitchen things - a potato peeler, washing up liquid, cling film (or tubs to store food in the fridge) and some dishcloths. We didn't find the remote to use the garage door - unsure if it was at the property but am sure the agent would have sorted it if we needed it.

This house offered everything we wished for and fulfilled all our needs.
The spacious rooms and bathrooms were great ,smart Tv in lounge.
Kitchen with everything you need.
The sparkling pool and outdoor seating comfortable and an entertainments dream.
Open plan and modern but homely and perfect for our family stay.
Thank you we will surely recommend this.
Not a deal breaker but the curtains are not block out and the sun sure wakes you up early.
No Aircon in rooms or roof fans. Small mobile fan had to suffice.

Beautiful views and stunning outdoor area with pool and braai. The villa was spacious and comfortable for a family group. Great to have all the bedrooms with en suites.
The bedrooms could benefit from darker curtains or blinds - the current bamboo blinds do little to darken the room especially in summer with an early sunrise
