Lovely traditional old pub with so much character. The staff were all friendly and helpful and made time for all their customers even though it was a really busy weekend. The food was particularly good with a wide choice and lots of locals eating there. Breakfast next day was well cooked and the pub looked immaculate at 8. 30 despite a wedding to clear up after. Great find, only wish we lived closer

Breakfast was very average. Very small selection of cereals and fruit, most of the vegetarian English was out of a tin or freezer. Bed was comfortable.
Bedroom tiny and bathroom even smaller. Some of the woodwork in the bathroom is in dire need of repair.
