Le Libecio, appart près des plages, plein centre, confortable

The position was excellent. So close to the old town with a beach at the end of the road. The kitchen was very well equipped.

As the property is on a main road it was noisy when on the balcony but the double glazing was good so dulled the noise when closed. The furniture was quite dated but very functional.

Very friendly host couple who met us at the property and showed us where everything was and how appliances worked. They were very accommodating and had worked hard to get the place ready for an early check in - this was very kind and appreciated by us. The apartment was clean and had good facilities including a well stocked kitchen with lots of crockery, cutlery and appliances. There were air conditioning units in the bedrooms and living room which was nice for comfort when coming back after a hot day sightseeing. The location was decent - only 10 mins walk into the old town, 15-20 mins walk (with young children) to the train station and a 5 minute walk to the sandy beaches. On Thursday there was a fab market that ran the length of the road all the way down to the station- great for a stroll.

There was a lot of traffic noise from the road below.

No breakfast provided. Sitting room uncomfortable. Comfy beds.Good location. Great in good weather so outside space could be used.

Object to paying R500euros extra on arrival which you only got back as you left, in my case to them fly home with them.
