When I ordered food or drink they charged me at the end and did not tell me I had to pay extra for specific items I thought it was a free breakfast

We booked a 2+1 room (with a toddler) for an overnight stay due to connecting flight in the morning. The check-in was friendly and smooth, and they offered the convenience of storing our luggage downstairs, which was great since we had a lot for a short stay. The breakfast service was superb, and the staff were sincere and attentive, especially to our 3-year-old's needs. Their caring nature and warm smiles made us feel valued, turning the experience from bad to fair. The breakfast selection was delicious, with something for everyone, and it set a positive tone for the day after a restless night.

Our stay was marred by a significant issue concerning the room accommodations for our 3-year-old. We had specifically communicated with the hotel in advance, requesting a cot for our toddler, and they had given a positive response (as we always do to ensure cot is in place upon arrival). However, upon check-in, we were shocked to find that the only option for our little one was a tiny, foldable TV seat. After a long flight and in the middle of the night, we were forced to think creatively to make the sleeping arrangements work. We ended up rearranging the two single beds and mattresses to create a makeshift sleeping space for our toddler. Despite our efforts, it was far from an ideal situation, and we had to switch sleeping positions on the mattress during the night to ensure our child's safety. None of us could sleep properly and I regretted not having waited in Airport for connecting flight in the morning. The TV seat, when flattened, was barely suitable for a short nap, but definitely not conducive to a comfortable night's sleep for a toddler. The room itself seemed designed for only two persons and was ill-equipped to accommodate a third person, especially a toddler. It was particularly disappointing that general guidelines (or our understanding after many stays in different locations) on booking.com for what constitutes a 2+1 room were not followed. This lack of clarity and consistency in room descriptions led to the unfortunate situation we faced during our stay. I urge booking.com to ensure the rooms shown after selecting 2 Adult and a child with age of 3 are actually so. We sincerely hope that booking.com and the hotel take measures to improve the accuracy of their room descriptions and establish clear standards for accommodating families with children. While the friendliness of the staff and the positive breakfast experience were appreciated, the room accommodation issue left a lasting negative impact on our stay at Karden.
