Hotel Elyon Dej

Very friendly and clean, the location was very convenient for us, nice big rooms with apt of space, tables, sockets and TV. The restaurant was excellent, delicious fresh food with a lot of variety. Prices for the rooms and restaurant is very good. The staff were helpful and very accommodating from beginning to end.

Couple of the mattresses were not comfortable, perhaps need to be changed but was not extreme to put us off from coming again. Shower was good but floods the whole bathroom floor.

I had a short stopover and arrived at 3 AM, so I really appreciated the 24/7 reception—check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious, though the furniture felt a bit outdated. Breakfast was decent

The parking area and the hotel surroundings are very poorly lit, which doesn’t feel great when arriving late at night. Better lighting would make a big difference.

The hotel is situated in the park, just 1 minute from the main road - so it's easy to get there, but still very quiet. The room is like on the photos, enough comfortable for one night stay. There are several playgrounds in the park near the hotel, so our children were really happy to spend there some time after several hours in the airplane and the car.

It was a bit difficult to understand each other, because the personal doesn't know English. However, they were trying to help to translate the menu (which is only in Romanian) The shower doesn't have a door, so the floor is the bathroom is full of water when you're taking a shower (( We didn't like the food (we ordered a dinner, it was ok, but not very tasty. And the breakfast was included in the price, but the omelette was overdone, the cereal for kids (corn flakes) was served with not enough milk)

The breakfast was very poor (only eggs)
