Checking in at the front desk was incredibly fast and easy, with a friendly manager. The room was thoroughly clean and fresh, and the comfortable bed ensured a great night's sleep. Free, on-site parking was useful. The location was quiet, even though it looked like the road would be busy, and is convenient for exploring downtown Christchurch, Hagley Park and the University of Canterbury.

Just far enough out of downtown to be quiet at night, and most importantly, a three minute walk from Pedro's House of Lamb.
In all seriousness, this place is spotless and super comfortable. We only got to stay one night, but wished we'd stayed for more. It also had a full kitchen, which we weren't expecting at a motel in the city.
