About this house rental

A corner lot puts you and your group in the heart of the action. The brick patio boasts a propane grill and seating area that are sure to delight. Inside you will find three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a capacity of up to eight guests in this vacation rental. The eat-in kitchen comes complete with all of the tools needed to make and serve a delectable meal. Packing some food to prepare for your stay will be an excellent way to cut some costs for your Put-in-Bay trip. A flat screen television with DirecTV and comfortable couches are highlights of the living area. There are two sliding glass doors in the living room that let in ample natural light and provides a nice exit to the patio. There is room for two vehicles in the brick driveway. The Island Club at PIB is your island home away from home. Our staff strives to provide you and your guests with a memorable experience during your Lake Erie vacation. We want you to return again and again to the quirky island of Put-in-Bay. The bedding in this house is as follows: Queen(1st Bedroom), Full/ Full Bunk(2nd Bedroom), Full(3rd Bedroom).
The weekends at Put in Bay Ohio are popular for the nightlife and getting away from the daily work grind without going too far from home. During the week, you can relax and enjoy Put-In-Bay's slower pace in a family friendly atmosphere. Location of house was great. The house is not in the heart of the hustle and bustle, but only a golf cart away from things to do downtown or at a beach. Great 4 day get away with the family.

We arrived on a Fri and realized that one of the patio doors didn’t lock. We contacted the front office 5 times over 2 hours to try and get someone to come look at it. They never came by or contacted us. We had to put the patio furniture and inside furniture against the door to help keep it a little secure for us to leave. We called several times on Saturday and the same, no one to looked at it or contacted us.

The Island Club Condos are the place to stay when on the island! Central location, close to the Miller Ferry, and downtown. Great energy and vibe by all who stay at this location!

The staff before we arrived and during our stay were very friendly, responsive and helpful. The kitchen in our unit was clean and well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses and nice newer cookware and cooking utensils and a coffee pot. That was much appreciated because we did do some cooking. There were no dish towels or pot holders, however someone from the office brought some over when we requested. The can opener and toaster need to be replaced. The grill should have been cleaned and cigarette can outside emptied. We are non smokers. The furniture was satisfactory and beds comfortable. The unit has a nice washer and dryer. Why is there an extra charge for towels and linens to be provided? The charge seemed excessive. We brought our own but what a hassle. A hairdryer would have been nice to have in the unit. Several light bulbs were burned out in various rooms. There was some damage to walls, oven door, and sliding door handle. We were told the properties were damaged by parting groups. What a shame! We were there during the week and it was quiet and peaceful. The location was good and our family enjoyed our stay.

We chose correctly. The overall set up worked for our group. You really have to pre plan sleeping areas not just look at “sleeps 8” Making sure someone is willing to climb to the top bunk is important. I’d stay there again.

Overall very clean, the grill wasn’t cleaned, I called about it and said they would be right there, but never showed up. On their behalf it was raining at the time. We cleaned it ourselves after finding the grill brush. One of the curtain rods in living area was about to fall but it didn’t while we were there, we chose not to use that sliding door, but overall it was clean the most important part of a property.

All of our interactions with the property personnel were outstanding, repairs were handled immediately and completely. The property was clean but showing its age and heavy usage. The beds were not placed as shown in the property photos and the living room furniture was very uncomfortable. The area was extremely noisy with many guests roaring around on golf carts using foul and obscene language and actions in front of children. The pool was overcrowded and not a safe place to take a child I would not recommend staying at this property on the weekend. But I would recommend staying here during the week - as I said - the service and staff were terrific.

Reviewer Comments: This was a rustic property which had plenty of room for 6 - 8 people. The host supplied the bedding and towels which was very nice (most of the properties in Island Club Home Rentals apparently do not). The management staff was very accommodating.
This area is for families with older children or groups of young adults which worked well for us but may not for all families as there are bachelor and bachelorette parties going on.
There are very clear rules about quieting down after 10 - 11 PM and these were followed by all of our neighbors.
The house had a very nice large screen TV (we were too busy on this fun island to watch television but it was nice to have one just in case of a rainy day).
It was about a mile from the main drag but Island Club called ahead and let us know so the golf carts we rented were waiting for us at the property when we arrived.
