About this villa rental
Villa Santa is a spacious 6 bedroom, 5 bathroom Villa. In the centre of Albufeira town, just a 5 minute walk to the strip where you will find the main area for bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, and nightlife. Oura's sandy beach is located 7 minutes walk from the villa.
Close walk to beach, the garden has a large swimming pool, parking for 3 cars, all on a large plot of land which is fenced and gated. Bathrooms and kitchen are modern and fully integrated.
Villa Santa, has all the modern accessories you would expect in a recently modernised Villa. Modern kitchen with integrated Microwave, Hob, oven, fridge and washing machine. All furniture is modern and we can provide extra foldaway beds to provide extra sleeping accommodation. (Please let us know if you require these as will need to provide extra bedding). The villa itself is located on 2 floors with 3 bedrooms on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms on the first floor.
All bedrooms have outside space with either a balcony, or double doors leading out. (apart from one), air conditioning, and storage space for your clothes.
Car hire is recommended but not essential. When the final rental payment has been received we will send you some detailed 'Arrival' information. This will include details of how to drive from Faro airport to Albufeira and then to your accommodation - an easy well signposted route which takes less than 45 min from the airport.
Whatever time you arrive keys are available for collection at the property from our key safe.
Taxi's are available from outside the airport terminal and take approx 45 min door to door.
We are also happy to pre-arrange return airport transfers for you and having received the details we can provide a quote.
Jan-March = Warm during the day, gets cold once the sun goes down

Albufeira is one of the top holiday destinations in the Algarve. With its mix of New and Old Town. The old town remains an unusually pretty village with its narrow cobblestone streets, twisting lanes of whitewashed houses and terracotta roofs above a beautiful spread of beaches. In the day time walk around all the local shops and have a drink in one of the many Bar's and Restaurant over looking the picturesque beaches. In the night watch the town come alive with street performers and music . In one of the many great Restaurant's why not try chicken piri piri one of the local dishes.
In the New Town you have late Bars and Discos open in the early hours. With some more great Restaurants.
All this is with 20 min walk from the Villa. Also don't forget about Slide and Splash, Aqualand, Zoomarine all with in 20min drive and some of finest golf course with in 10min drive from Villa Santa.
Villa Santa is located in the main town of Albufeira. Located close to the recently built Hotel Grande Santa Eulalia (5 star) which is surrounded by bars, pubs, restaurants. The Hotel itself has a sports club with Tennis facilities, Gym, as well as many leisure activities.
Just a short drive to the many shops of Albufeira which is easily accessible via the main road into Town.
The Beaches of Santa Eulalia and Oura are again a short Walk away and parking is free beside the beach.

Driving along the coast
It has 300 or more days of sunshine annually. The Spanish border is only 45 min on the A22 Eastward, it is possible to get a ferry to Morroco it approx a half hour crossing. Vilamoura (resort) is only 10 min away, it is a Golfers and Yachting paradise. The largest shopping centre in the Algarve is less then10 min drive, located in Guia village, 'Shopping Algarve' Complex has everything, Cinemas , 10 Pin Bowling Fast food outlets , restaurants + all the main high street shops. On the opposite side of the road to 'Shopping Algarve' you have the Retail Park with all your electrical and home needs. Lisbon + Fatima can be seen on a day trip by train from Albufeira station.
Villa Santa, is located on Estrada d Santa Eulalia. Beside the Oura area, it is a short walk to the Santa Eulalia beach, approximately 10 minutes walk, restaurants and bars are 5-10 minutes walk depending on what type of food and nightlife you are after. The strip where you will find the main area for bars, restaurants, cafes and nightlife is located 10 minutes walk from the villa.
There are golf courses located with a couple of minutes drive, or 25 minutes will get you to Vilamoura where you will find the best golf courses in the Algarve in my opinion.
Beautiful Exterior
As you enter the gates you will find an area to park. The Villa is surrounded by fencing to provide privacy and security for your stay.
The swimming pool area is south facing, you will find sunloungers and dining area. The dining area is located underneath a large mature tree to provide shade. The sunloungers surround the swimming pool on the tiles and lawn area to the make the best use of the sun and Villa Santa's facilities.
There is an outside BBQ beside the kitchen where you can cook up a feast after going to one of the many fish markets, or just go to the large Supermarket located approximately 5 minutes walk from the Villa.
There are 2 large glass sliding doors that face onto the swimming pool from the living room and dining area. Perfect for those who may have had enough of the sun but still want to look out.
As you enter the main door of Villa Santa you will find yourself in a modern fully integrated open plan Italian Kitchen, with Breakfast table. Good size room and easily accommodate cooking for up to 16 people.
Once you leave the kitchen you will arrive in the open plan living / dining room area where you will first notice the light airy feel from the double height ceilings, glass roof, and double sliding doors. All furniture is modern and excellent quality. There is a large dining area for up to 10 people.
The living room has three large sofas. The double sliding doors lead out to the swimming pool, that is flooded with light during the day.
Bedroom 1: Just off the living room, benefits from double bed, ensuite facilites, air conditioning, sliding wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: Just off the living room, benefits from 1 double bed and 1 single bed, large glass sliding doors lead out to the forecourt area, ensuite facilities, wardrobe area, chest of drawers and side tables, and air conditioning
Bedroom 3: twin bedroom with air conditioning, wardrobe, and ensuite shower facilities
Once you leave the living room area you will find solid a solid wooden staircase leading you to the remaining bedrooms.
Bedroom 4: double bed, with air conditioning, wardrobe and balcony with ensuite bathroom facilities. Large windows which are south facing with beautiful views (Main Bedroom)
Bedroom 5: Twin beds (we can provide a 3rd single bed in this bedroom if required), fitted wardrobes and balcony
Bedroom 6: Double bed with fitted wardrobes
There is a main bathroom beside bedrooms 5 and 6, all bathrooms have been completely refurbished and provide modern facilities.
The hallway has 2 large windows which look onto beautiful views of the trees and partial seaviews
Main Bedroom: Double bed with side tables, ensuite facilities, south facing balcony with beautiful views, wardobe, chest of drawers. Air conditioning
General Villa Santa has modern furniture, kitchen, bathrooms, and retilied throughout to provide a modern feel. We have kept some of the original features such as the wooden pine ceilings on the 1st floor, solid wooden staircase, to retain some of the portuguese influences.
Villa Santa is a villa that can be enjoyed by large groups, and families for different types of holidays.

A great size property, the living and kitchen space is nice and big for hosting a big holiday. The pool was also a great size and enough sun loungers/seating area. The rooms were clean. Kitchen has enough utensils etc, the oven did trip the electrics but easily fixed by switching the electrics back on. Otherwise no problem just when using oven. Villa felt safe and secure. Great location, beach close by and local shops too We managed to lock our personal stuff in the villa safe so I contacted Jim. He was quick to reply and sent the maintenance staff out to help resolve the issue. Thank you! Helpful host.

Jim was fantastic with communication, always responded and was very helpful. Villa was large enough for 13 of us and was a great location to beach and a short walk to the ice cream hut and the strip. A few things weren’t working and a some tiles around pool broken- but Jim is now on the case to get these issues resolved for future guests. We would stay here again due to location and for Jim being so good with things raised and being on it with helping with any questions.

We booked this villa for a family holiday and chose it for its location to the beach and amenities, but the villa itself needs some serious TLC:- The photos on the website are not a true representation of how the villa looks- The tiles around the pool were cracked and loose, we bought the children swim shoes as it was dangerous- The microwave was rusty and dirty- Every time we used the oven it shorted the whole villa so we lost power- Nowhere to hang up wet towels and swimsuits inside, so used soggy towels all holiday (weather wasn’t good enough to hang outside)- Strictly one towel and one hand towel per person. For a family using the pool, going to the beach and needing to shower one towel is not enough- Heating the pool costs extra and no pool net to remove insects- The skylight above the dining table leaks when it rains- The downstairs rooms smelt damp and musty, the drawers smelt so bad we didn’t put our clothes in them- Mould in the showers- 1 shower had no curtain and after a storm smelt of sewage- The listing says all but one room has access to outside space, downstairs only 1 of the 3 had access and the 1 that did was to the car port. The upstairs rooms were to a tiny balcony with no furniture- The bedroom furniture and bathroom cupboards need replacing, they’re tired, water damaged and unusable- Some of the window blinds didn’t work so were permanently down- Outside cushions were permanently wet- Ping pong table on the verge of collapsing
