About this villa rental
Located in Torre da Medronheira, Albufeira, Portugal. This large villa is ideal for families or large groups that are looking for a quiet setting with excellent entertainment space.
This is the ideal spot if you wish to relax and enjoy the sun. Situated on a large plot, there is plenty of room inside and outside for large groups to get the very best out of their holiday.
This villa has impressive views of the countryside and the sea. There are two sun deck areas which allow you to make the most of the sun.
All bedrooms are air conditioned.
The property is in within easy reach of Albufeira, Pinecliffs and a 25-minute drive to Quinta do Lago.
The property is surrounded by the best golf courses and lovely restaurants.
The supermarket is approximately 500 metres away (large supermarket that houses most essential items).

Algarve region: Villa Torre is ideally located close to the old town and the strip. Allowing you to enjoy the sun throughout the day with relaxing surroundings and enjoy the amenities of Albufeira town in the evening and through the night.
The temperature is generally nice all year round. Portugal is the warmest and driest European country.
The Algarve coast is known for some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. The Algarve has approximately 3000 hours of sunshine a year and is generally dry.
Temperature:
Jan - March = Warm during the day, gets cold once the sun goes down.
April - May = Hotter and dryer, warmer in the evenings.
June - September = Hot and dry morning, day and night.
October = Approximately 24 degrees during the day, ideal for golf.
November - December = Generally warm but bring a jumper.
Spacious interior: Villa Torre, has stylish bathrooms, with modern fittings. The kitchen retains the Portuguese style however with all the modern facilities. The villa has been completely retiled with granite tiles in the hallway.
Villa Torre has beautiful views onto the sea. It is located on a large plot with lemon trees, large lawn area, large swimming pool and plenty of room to either be lazy around the pool or entertain a large group.
The living room has plenty of seating for guests and dining room also had plenty of seating.
Kitchen/breakfast area:
Fully fitted kitchen including electric hob and oven, large fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, microwave, TV, breakfast table and chairs. Cutlery, crockery, plates and cooking utensils provided.

There are double patio doors to the outside dining terrace and door leading into the kitchen.

Perfect location for my 60th birthday celebrations 5min walk to supermarket 10min walk to selection of bars and restaurants can get to strip and old town via uber in 10/15mins plenty of space around villa and Jim was extremely helpful with everything i needed to know when booking, excellent host, great villa!!

We booked for a party of 17 ladies the pool was perfect to hang around in the day and at night within walking distance of Olhos da Água for meals. Within minutes of a supermarket which is very handy. Download the bolt app and you can have a taxi in minutes we used to take 17 of us to albuferia for the night and was very easy to use and also used to do a day trip to see dolphins and Bengali cave. Jim was easy to contact and arranged airport transfers for us they were very efficient on way out our plane was diverted and both Jim and the company kept in touch and they were there waiting for us when we eventually made it to faro. Overall happy memories made and would definitely return

Plenty of space, the pool area was brilliant fun. Great villa for a bunch of friends or family. Showers need updating but its all clean and everything works.

Overall view is that the villa is dated but it was clean upon our arrival.No housekeeping in the whole ten days we stayed. No clean bedding or clean towels. A gentleman came to clean the pool once but that was all. First night we were there we contacted the owner to explain that the oven was not working. He replied stating he would get it sorted. After three days we hadn't had a reply from the owner and ended up getting it sorted ourselves. We had small children with us and had bought food that needed cooking. We couldn't afford to wait any longer. I informed the owner that we had sorted it and still haven't even received a reply to acknowledge this. I would like to say this was the only issue but it wasnt. Most of the Aircon remotes had missing batteries so didn't work. We had to go and buy batteries. However despite having batteries the Aircon didn't work in one of the bedroom. Kept bringing up an error code. This made the nights unbearable as you couldn't leave the windows open without getting eaten alive by the mosquitos.Also the downstairs ensuite didn't have hot water no matter what we did. Unsure what the issue is as the other downstairs bathroom had hot water.There is also an ant nest right next to the pool Despite this we had a great time as a family and the villa suited our needs especially the pool. Just a shame the other bits let it down
