Marina Club Apartment

Miguel was in touch from the minute we booked. He got in touch a few days before we arrived with lots of helpful recommendations of where to eat and food shop. He met us at the apartment and took us through everything we needed to know about how thing worked, he made checking in a absolute delight and we would not hesitate to use this apartment again because of him. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook full meals, and I made good use of it, shopping at the market for fresh fish every other day. The beds were really comfortable and no traffic noise with the doors closed. There is air conditioning, which we didn't need, and ceiling fans too. The balcony was the perfect place to have breakfast and watch the ships, it is sunny all day, perfect. The shower had excellent water pressure too. Don't worry about not having enough hangers, there are plenty, which goes to show how Miguel has thought of everything.

We liked everything

The location is in the centre of Funchal, close to all amenities. The lounge is very bright and spacious with huge terraces. The views from the terrace are beautiful

- Property looked a bit tired and needs a freshen up - It had not been cleaned, towels smelt stale and there was a constant smell of sewage in the bathroom coming from the pipes - property was advertised as air conditioned but this is partially correct. There was no air conditioning in the lounge - narrow bathtub
