We loved how comfortable the apartment was and the great air conditioning kept it nice and cool , it’s in a great location central to shops and restaurants, our host Alfonso was very helpful and gave some great recommendations on sites to visit and restaurants as well .

Apartment had everything we needed, very comfortable beds and having 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Alfonso arranged to meet us outside the apartment and then thoroughly explained everything within the apartment and in the local area. We asked about a trip to the Amalfi coast, he then put us in touch with a guide who arranged everything picking us up from the apartment and bringing us back. It was an excellent day at sea. We mentioned we were going on the train to Napoli for the day and he gave us lots of advice and tips of places to visit. The pizza restaurant he recommended was the best pizza we have ever had.

Alfonso met us when we arrived - all of the communication prior to arriving was very helpful and he was incredibly informative, nothing was too much trouble. The apartment is comfortable and centrally located in Vico Equense, close to the shops and restaurants, and only a 10 minute walk from the station, for trips to Pompei and Sorrento. It's a beautiful place to explore and a great base to visit other places. We also took a trip to Capri - take the Circumvesviana train to Sorrento (just 2.2 Euros per ticket, buy from the ticket office) and then buy a ferry ticket across (about 20 Euros direct from ticket office). We did things on a budget and generally all of the public transport was reliable - getting back from Capri was a bit of a scrum but it all worked out. Capri was incredibly busy, I can only imagine what it's like in the summer - it was so busy waiting for transport up to the town that we walked, not for the faint-hearted! Helpfully Alfonso also told us about the bus you can catch directly to the airport for our journey back, which was very helpful (10 Euros each). Air con was great, kitchen well equipped, 2 bathrooms, you are just below street level and traffic can be noisy so set your expectations accordingly!
For the price, nothing really. We had a problem with the shower and it was sorted so quickly, for which we are very grateful. We did time our visit with Republic day so we had children running street races from very early in the day outside on one day, but it was good to be part of the fun!
