Nice walks in the area good cycle path to Threkeld.Farmers arms do nice meals as does Derwent water hotel
Hedge could have been trimmed up beside the bench only one person could sit on it as hedge was in the way couldn't move the bench as it was tied to fence.
Could do with not using waterproof mattress protector as one on one of the beds and it rustled like a crisp bag waking you up and also the person in the other bed. Can be easily solved.

Lovely walks from house. Comfortable and easy to get into Keswick
Shower which we had read about. It was ok but a bit awkward not being able to stand up in bath

The views over the lake and the cosy lounge area
The lack of a proper shower. Although I did know this when I booked but didn't fully appreciate how low the ceiling was and being unable to stand made the hand held shower very tricky and hard not to soak the bathroom floor. Also a very minor thing but the kitchen lacked a freezer or a simple ice box so frozen food was of limits.
