Location, comfort of the cottage and the Christmas/festive touches were nice!
The wind blowing down the chimney is pretty loud and annoying. Not sure if anything can be done for that as its a windy location.

Very comfortable stay. Very quiet! Beautiful views from in front of property. Thankful for parking at accommodations! Quick walk into town and longer walk to the fish quay with vistas of South Shields!
Stairs were narrow and steep’! Bathroom in the 1st level! Fine for me, Not so much for my husband.

The cottage was well appointed with all that you could possibly need, comfortable and clean. Location great. Information book very helpful. As per expectations and pictured on booking.com. Lovely towels
Slightly leaking plug in bathroom sink. Taps also twisted on use, particularly hot tap. Would have liked freeview/terrestrial TV. Couldn't connect to Sonos but good Internet connection
