Our experience was underwhelming.

Hot tub

1. It was not comfortable for 7 people. 2. Location was hard to reach. 3. Not easy access to food and restaurants. 4. Low door entrances caused injuries to guests. 5. Uncomfortable beds. 6. Excessive Noise from other guests at night. 7. Lounge was too small for 7 people. 8. Not enough TV channels. 9. WiFi not available in outside areas. 10. Kids got cuts from stairs from nails. 11. Creaky beds and floor. 12. Bathroom locks didn’t walk. 13. Glass in upstairs main bathroom caused guests to be uncomfortable and was not usable. 14. Insufficient toiletries. 15. Insufficient space to use the pool table.

They’d thought of everything. We felt comfortable and at home as soon as we stepped in. It was wonderful to be able to walk straight out to beautiful countryside on our doorstep

Spacious and beautiful. The hot tub was amazing.

Some of the steps that are not very visible and can end up hurting yourself. Just needs some marking to make it more visible.

A lovely family weekend away.

The location was peaceful with great access to lots of brilliant outdoor activities - these could be included in the information book (e.g. zip world fforest is only 6 minutes away and was great fun). The host was friendly and communicated well. The hot tub was lovely as were the welcome gifts left on the table for us. The big king-sized bed was really comfy. The garden was beautiful and felt safe for our young son.

There was a lack of storage space in the kitchen. We needed some hooks in the downstairs bedroom and maybe some hooks round the hot tub for towels. The information book was quite out of date. It may only be relevant because we had such beautiful weather but some sun loungers would have been lovely outside.

Everything was fab, will definitely bear this cottage in mind if we are ever back in the area!

Everything was perfect, we got lost on route (our fault) so we were later arriving than I had told the owner, but she still met us on arrival and showed us in. The cottage was lovely, was exactly what we were looking for for our group. The added bonus of the hot tub and the pool table kept everyone entertained. It was a very short distance to zipworld too which is what we had gone to Wales to do.

Perfect Farmhouse

Loved everything about Maes Madog, from the moment we arrived until we left, everything I expected was catered for and some. The spacious farmhouse gave us quality family time, sat in front of the log burner, playing pool, relaxing in the hot tub or exploring the grounds, we all loved it.
