Maes Madog

The property was amazing, the 15 minute drive from the local town meant that the grounds were quiet and peaceful, yet it was easy to drive to get dinner/supplies. The farmhouse was spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen, amazing outdoor area (an outdoor tv/sound system, a BBQ, an outdoor kitchen, firepit and hot tub!), comfortable beds and sofas, high pressure showers, pool table, and a beautiful welcome pack including wine and chocolates. We honestly couldn't have asked for more.

The only frustration was the overlap between Booking.com and Sykes website, which meant I received 2, sometimes 3 emails a day in the lead up to the booking.

Absolutely loved our stay in the Maes Madog farmhouse. We were a multi-generational group and it was the ideal set up to suit all of us, with the hot tub and pool table great added extras. We all felt that the house was a real home from home, spotlessly clean and really comfortable beds. Jane is an excellent host giving clear communication before arrival and on hand during our stay if we needed anything. Betws-y-Coed is a wonderful village 5 minutes drive away, lots of places to eat, great shops and decent walks from the centre. Maes Madog is also very handy for nearby Zip World (highly recommend the Fforest Coaster which we all loved) and it's only 25 mins from Penryn Quarry for Velocity, the fastest zip line in the world (which was epic, even my 83 year old mother did it!). Would 100% recommend this beautiful house for your next trip to North Wales.
